Scott Lew has a diverse background in scientific research and data science. Currently, as a Data Science Student at Springboard since March 2019, Scott has utilized machine learning for protein classification and applied linear regression to analyze baseball statistics. Prior experience includes a Scientist role at a Start-Up from October 2014 to March 2019, where Scott developed various insulin and glucagon delivery systems. An internship at Mount Sinai Innovation Partners in late 2017 provided experience in technology transfer and commercial development. Scott's earlier career involved significant research at Columbia University as a Research Associate and postdoctoral fellow, where protein crystallization and interaction studies were conducted. Educational qualifications include a BA in Chemistry from New York University and a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from Stony Brook University.
