Our vision is to create a community where everyone has access to healthy, local food. Founded in 2010, Springfield Community Gardens’ network of 17 community gardens and 3 farm incubator sites offer fresh produce to the community and facilitate the growth of new farmers. These spaces help alleviate food insecurity, train and support local growers, and increase economic opportunities and financial resources for low-income families by using best practices in sustainable agriculture.
