Pete Tchoryk

Peter Tchoryk is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in advanced technology development and leadership. Since June 1997, Peter has served as the CEO and Board Member of Michigan Aerospace Corporation, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial performance, and strategic initiatives. As the Founder and CEO of Springmatter, established in April 2014, Peter focuses on building sustainable businesses and supporting entrepreneurs. Additionally, Peter founded the Springmatter Fund in December 2016 to facilitate intentional philanthropy. Other notable roles include Board Member at Acousys Biodevices since August 2015, Founder, President, and Board Member of OptoAtmospherics since 2009, and Member of the Kettering University Physics Advisory Board since 1999. Peter's early career included a position as Systems Development Section Head at the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan from 1986 to 1997. Peter holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Optics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with an Optics minor from Kettering University.
