Cole Entress

Cole Entress, PhD, serves as the Director of Learning Experiences at Springpoint since January 2023. Previously, Entress held the position of University Supervisor at Teachers College, Columbia University from September 2017 to May 2022. As a columnist for the National Science Teachers Association, Entress contributed the "Disequilibrium" column to Science Scope Magazine, providing innovative lesson ideas for middle school science teachers. Entress also worked as the Director of Curriculum Design for Science and as a Curriculum Designer at Relay Graduate School of Education between July 2013 and September 2019, designing and teaching graduate-level science instruction. Prior experience includes roles at Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley, Newark Collegiate Academy, Knewton, Inc., and Chicago Public Schools, where Entress developed curricula and taught various science subjects. Entress earned a PhD in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics and Developmental Biology/Philosophy from Dartmouth College.
