Kyleen Carpenter

Kyleen Carpenter is an experienced educator and school leader with a strong background in urban education and teacher training. Currently serving as a School Observer Content Expert at Springpoint since September 2022, Kyleen provides observational feedback to high schools for improvement. As the Head of School at Blackstone Academy Charter School, a public charter school serving 350 students, Kyleen focuses on community improvement and college preparation. Additionally, Kyleen has taught graduate courses in Urban Teaching at Providence College and Antioch University New England. Previous roles include Spanish Teacher and Class Dean at The Rivers School and Spanish Teacher at Providence Country Day School, where Kyleen also organized international student trips. Educational credentials include a Principal's Certification from Antioch University New England, an Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA from Amherst College in Spanish and Psychology.
