Mark Olear is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with nearly 40 years of experience in acquiring, developing, and optimizing commercial assets across the United States. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Getty Realty Corp. since 2014, Mark oversees acquisitions, investments, and asset management for the publicly traded REIT specializing in convenience automotive retail. Mark has led a team that has successfully acquired over 500 properties, significantly contributing to the company’s growth and environmental sustainability initiatives. Beginning their career at Pathmark Supermarkets in 1986, Mark has held senior leadership roles at prominent organizations, including Toys R Us, A&P Supermarkets, Home Depot, and TD Bank. Additionally, since 2020, Mark has served as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Springpoint Senior Living, providing leadership in enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
