John Wall

John Wall joined Springstone in October 2018 as General Counsel. He has extensive experience managing the legal operations of rapidly growing healthcare companies. From 2013 to 2018, he served as VP and General Counsel for MedExpress Urgent Care where he managed four attorneys and support staff for 250+ urgent care practices and 50 employer health centers operating across 19 states. As part of his duties, John oversaw all litigation, claims, and third-party investigations for platform (malpractice, employment, commercial, compliance, quality, licensing board, and otherwise) and authored numerous operational policies, procedures and protocols. He also authored several measures implemented by credentialing and medical management staff, developed and operationalized a peer review program, a corporate practice of medicine compliance program, a due diligence readiness program, numerous risk mitigation measures and provider/staff training initiatives. Prior to MedExpress, John was an Equity Member at Burns, White, LLC, a Pittsburgh, PA-based law firm with offices throughout 5 states. There, he litigated over 75 jury trials to verdict, specializing in professional malpractice, commercial, anti-trust, and complex litigation.

John earned a B.S. in finance at the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, Pittsburgh, PA.
