Tarun Kumar

Tarun Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tarun started their career as an Assistant Manager at Reliance Power, where they were responsible for control and instrumentation commissioning and maintenance activities in a power plant. Tarun then moved on to Synergy Advisory Pvt. Ltd. as an intern, gaining experience in infrastructure and financial advisory services.

Tarun joined Bharti Airtel in 2014 as a Management Trainee in finance. Tarun completed projects on 4G, 3G, and 2G performance improvement and developed financial models for the company. Tarun then transitioned to Airtel Nigeria as a Manager of Business Planning and Analysis, where they handled revenue planning, forecasting, and monitoring. Tarun also analyzed investments and prepared financial reports.

Returning to Bharti Airtel, Tarun took on the role of Senior Manager, focusing on HR analytics and HR opex support. Tarun was responsible for data analysis, talent acquisition support, and supporting learning and development initiatives. Tarun also led a project to automate HR dashboards.

In 2018, Tarun joined OYO as a Director of HR Analytics and HR Cost, where they established HR analytics and designed strategic dashboards for people metrics. Tarun also worked on workforce planning and budgeting.

Tarun then transitioned to Ola as a Director, HR Head, and TA Head for technology, product, design, and IT. Tarun also served as the Chief of Staff to the Group CHRO. In this role, Tarun led HR initiatives, managed teams, and supported HR projects.

Most recently, Tarun joined Sprinklr as the Director of the Culture & Talent Team (HR) - R&D, where they are responsible for shaping the company's culture and talent strategy.

Throughout their career, Tarun has demonstrated expertise in HR, finance, analytics, and project management. Tarun has led teams, managed budgets, and contributed to organizational growth and success.

Tarun Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Instrumentation Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, specializing in General Management, at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 2012 to 2014.
