Mark Barzilay

Mark Barzilay has extensive experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong focus on test automation. Mark is the founder and owner of spriteCloud, a software quality assurance consultancy based in Amsterdam. At spriteCloud, they offer functional testing services and specializes in website test automation using their own cloud customer portal. Mark also holds the role of Managing Director at spriteCloud Cybersecurity.

In addition to spriteCloud, Mark has held various positions at different companies. Mark worked as a Performance Test Specialist at Picturae and was responsible for executing performance and load testing workshops using JMeter and Octoperf. Mark Barzilay earned a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2004. Mark then pursued an MSc. Cum-Laude in Media & Knowledge Engineering from Delft University of Technology, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. In 2005, they also briefly studied Information Technology at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Prior to their university education, they attended Montessori Lyceum Rotterdam from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their academic background, Mark Barzilay obtained certifications such as Tricentis Platform Introduction, Ethical Hacker Foundation, Scrum Master Certified (SMC), and TMap NEXT® Test Engineer.
