Stephen Mello is the Vice President of Products at SproutLoud, where he helps shape the company’s product vision, direction, and execution, building on SproutLoud’s success in distributed marketing and brand-to-local marketing automation.

Steve’s 20+ year career in the martech space includes leadership roles in strategy, product management, and development at Upland Software, Localytics, and IBM. Most recently, Steve was Vice President of Strategy, Product Management, and Development for Upland Software’s Customer Experience division, where he successfully built the organization into a focused, cohesive unit that was delivering industry-leading products. Prior to Upland’s acquisition of Localytics, an app marketing leader headquartered in Boston, Steve and his team at Localytics developed the vision, strategy, and product direction that attracted Upland’s interest. At IBM, Steve served as Vice President of Strategy and Product Management, capping off two decades as a business leader in various IBM divisions, including the Watson Commerce division, the Customer Experience business unit, and the Personal Computing division.
