Graeme Smethurst

Graeme Smethurst has worked as the Head of Corporate Development at SPT Labtech since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Piper Sandler from October 2006 to December 2022. Before their time at Piper Sandler, they were a PhD student at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research from 2002 to 2006.

Graeme Smethurst obtained their PhD in Cancer Research from The University of Manchester, which they pursued from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford, where they obtained an MBiochem degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, graduating between 1998 and 2002. Earlier than their time at Oxford, Graeme attended Grange School in Hartford, although specific details regarding the degree or field of study are not provided.
