Jonathan Faherty

Jonathan Faherty has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the life sciences industry. Jonathan is currently working as a Product Manager - Drug Discovery at SPT Labtech since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Territory Manager, Life Sciences, EU North at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific from September 2022 to May 2023.

From July 2021 to September 2022, Jonathan held the position of Head of Operations, North America at Dynamic Biosensors. Jonathan also served as the Technical Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland from May 2020 to June 2021 at the same company.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at Fluidic Analytics from November 2019 to April 2020 as a Field Applications Manager, where they were responsible for providing technical support and driving adoption of the company's technology. Before this, they held the role of Field Applications Specialist from April 2018 to November 2019 and Application Specialist from July 2017 to April 2018 at the same company.

Jonathan's work experience also includes roles at Cambridge Epigenetix as a Research Scientist from November 2016 to July 2017 and at the University of Dundee as a Researcher from 2013 to 2016. During their time at the University of Dundee, they also served as a part-time Scientific Demonstrator for undergraduate biology labs during the academic year 2014-2015.

Additionally, Jonathan worked on biomedical research projects at NUI Galway, where they held the position of Final Year Biomedical Research Project from January 2013 to April 2013 and a Summer Research Intern role from June 2012 to September 2012.

Jonathan Faherty attended the University of Galway from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science. Following this, they furthered their education at the University of Dundee from 2013 to 2015, obtaining a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Life Sciences.
