Kurt Saffer, MBA, is an experienced professional in the fields of intelligence, homeland security, and law enforcement, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University since November 2022. Saffer also works as a Senior C2ISR Advisor at Spectrum Comm Inc, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Saffer held significant leadership roles, including Deputy Director at NORAD & US Northern Command, where coordination of Homeland Defense and Civil Support programs took place, and Senior Advisor to the National Counterterrorism Center at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, providing critical situational awareness to counter terrorist threats. With extensive military experience, Saffer has held various command positions in the United States Air Force, including leading intelligence operations against al-Qaida and overseeing the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Division. Saffer holds an MBA in International/Global Studies from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Communications and Criminal Justice from California State University-Sacramento.
