SPTmi was established in 1948 in Marseille, France and has since expanded with subsidiaries in Brest (France), La Seyne sur Mer (France)and Cape Town.
 Its subsidiary located in Cape Town, SPTsa (South Africa), is the group’s center dedicated for its marine and offshore activities. It is specialized in providing turnkey solutions for accommodation and living quarters, maintenance, outfitting, repairs, major conversions and upgrades in the marine and offshore industry.

SPTsa has developed capacity to carry out projects onshore at shipyards or offshore while in operation, enabling prompt and efficient service to a growing customer base at various locations worldwide.

The company focuses on providing an excellent service to clients whilst maintaining security standards that comply with relevant regulations and applicable specifications of marine and regulatory authorities.
