Tim Elwell-Sutton

Tim Elwell-Sutton serves as the Deputy Regional Director of Public Health for the Department of Health and Social Care in South East England, leading public health initiatives across the office and NHS England since January 2021. In previous roles, Tim has directed bilateral engagements for the UK government, fostering international health partnerships, and has held various positions in public health education and governance, including honorary lecturer at the University of East Anglia and trustee roles at multiple health organizations. With extensive experience in improving public health through strategic partnerships and interventions, Tim's academic background includes a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Public Health from the University of Hong Kong.
