John Swann

John Swann has been President of the HVAC Heating group, including Weil-McLain and Marley Engineered Products, since 2013. He assumed additional responsibilities for Radiodetection in 2015. John has led efforts to formulate and implement organic and M&A strategies to drive profitable growth across the portfolio, including the acquisitions of Schonstedt and CUES in 2018, which along with Radiodetection form the Location & Inspection group, as well as the acquisition of Patterson-Kelley within the Heating group in 2019. Previously, John served as President of SPX Hydraulic Technologies and Vice President of New Venture Development for SPX. John joined SPX in 2004 as Director of Business Development for the company’s Industrial and Test & Measurement segments. Before joining SPX, he held consulting positions with both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Business Consulting, practicing in the areas of mergers & acquisitions and corporate strategy. John also serves on the board of the Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and is a member of its Audit Committee.
