Scott Butterfield has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott started their career at Baxter International Inc. as an Area Accounting Supervisor in 1984 and later worked at Foster Medical Corp. as an Area Controller. Scott then joined Quaker Oats and Kraft General Foods in financial planning and analysis and financial planning and strategy roles, respectively. In 1994, they moved to Pizza Hut, where they held positions in acquisitions and divestitures and financial and strategic planning. From 1997 to 1999, Scott served as the Vice President of Finance at Michigan Pizza Hut, Inc. Scott then joined Lowe's Home Improvement, where they initially led the Strategic Planning Function and later served as the Senior Vice President of Research and Strategic Planning. In 2011, they founded New Growth Horizons, Inc. and worked as the President and Business Growth Consultant. Scott also partnered with HIRA Home Improvement Retail Advisors, LLC as a Partner, where they advised retailers and suppliers globally. Most recently, they worked as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Business Development at SPX Technologies, where they led marketing communications, business analytics, and business development efforts for SPX HVAC heating businesses, Weil-McLain and Marley Engineered Products.

Scott Butterfield obtained a BBA in Accounting from the University of Iowa between 1980 and 1984. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1989 to 1992.
