Brian Smith

Brian Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in founding and leading innovative companies in the cybersecurity space. As Founder and CTO of Spyderbat and Click Security, Inc., as well as serving as Engineering Fellow at Alert Logic and holding pivotal roles including Founder, Chief Architect, and CTO at TippingPoint, Brian has demonstrated expertise in engineering and architecture. Brian's career began as a Senior Developer at Netpliance. Brian holds a PhD in Computer Science and an AB in Physics, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
