Amber DeVries

Amber DeVries, Ph.D., is a Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy at Spyre Therapeutics, where they focus on leveraging their expertise in bioinformatics and genetics to advance cancer prevention strategies. Previously, Amber held roles as a Life Sciences Specialist at L.E.K. Consulting and as a Bioinformatics Lead Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Amber earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics from the Cedars-Sinai PhD Graduate Program between 2018 and 2022 and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Their research interests involve advanced statistical methods and machine learning applications to develop custom polygenic risk scores for ovarian cancer.
