Kurt Buhler is a highly experienced consultant and mentor specializing in Power BI, Data Modeling, and Analysis Services. Currently, Kurt serves as a Consultant & Mentor at SQLBI, collaborating with Alberto Ferrari and Marco Russo on articles, white papers, and training materials. As a Trainer for Tabular Editor, Kurt focuses on educating users to enhance their semantic modeling skills. In the role of Chief Data Goblin at Data Goblins, Kurt provides expertise across various aspects of Power BI and Analysis Services. Previous positions include a BI Expert at Mediahuis nv, where Kurt assisted in Power BI adoption, and a Pre-Sales Expert in Business Intelligence at Ordina Belgium, delivering commercial support and data visualization consultancy. Kurt holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven, complemented by a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta, along with an exchange program experience at Uppsala University.
