Mark Schmitz

Mark Schmitz has a strong background in executive roles, with a focus on operations and business development. Mark recently joined Collibra as the President. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Citrix from 2019 to 2022. Mark also held the role of Senior Vice President, Business Operations at Citrix from 2016 to 2019. Before joining Citrix, Mark worked at SAP as the Chief Operating Officer for SAP Cloud from 2014 to 2016. Mark also worked at Ariba, where they held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2013, Vice President/Senior Vice President - Global Sales Operations & Business Development from 2010 to 2012, and Director/Sr. Director Corporate Business Development from 2006 to 2010. Mark's career started at Accenture, where they worked as a Manager from 1998 to 2002.

Mark Schmitz earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Finance from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Mark attended this college from 1993 to 1997. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they were enrolled from 2006 to 2009.
