Rob Wheals

Rob Wheals serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Squadron Energy, Australia's leading renewable energy company, since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rob was the Director of Wheals Consulting Pty Ltd from September 2023 to March 2024. From September 2008 to September 2022, Rob held the position of CEO and Managing Director at APA Group, a prominent ASX-listed energy infrastructure business with significant revenues and market capitalization. Rob's previous experience includes roles such as Group Executive Transmission (COO) and General Manager Commercial at APA Group, as well as positions at AAPT, Bach Consulting, XT3 (Ion Global), BT Group, and Deloitte. Rob holds a Company Directors Course credential from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Post Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from The University of Waikato, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Higher Diploma in Accounting from Rhodes University.
