Tarun Garg has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Tarun started their career as a Joint Secretary at Manan A Techno Surge in June 2014 and later became the General Secretary. In January 2016, Tarun joined EMC Corporation as a College Intern, where they worked on building widgets for the D2 product and imparting JavaScript knowledge to the team.
In September 2016, Tarun moved to SquadStack as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in building the core backend from scratch for SquadVoice. Tarun also worked on various development challenges and contributed to the success of the product. Tarun then advanced to the role of Senior Software Engineer and took on more responsibilities, including leading projects, forming OKRs, and solving complex problems with minimal supervision.
Continuing their journey at SquadStack, Tarun progressed to the positions of Technical Lead and Technical Team Lead. In these roles, they utilized their development experience, system knowledge, and analytical thinking to effectively manage and lead teams.
Currently, Tarun Garg holds the position of Engineering Manager at SquadStack. Tarun has been instrumental in driving the company's engineering efforts and ensuring the success of various projects. Starting from March 2021, Tarun has assumed leadership roles such as Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager.

Tarun Garg completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from YMCA University of Science and Technology in Faridabad. Tarun attended the university from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in "Shaping up with Angular.js" and "Staying Sharp with AngularJS" from Code School in September 2015.
