Skip Whitten

Skip Whitten has worked in the IT industry for over 40 years. Skip began their career in 1977 as a Buyer for Defender Industries. In 1990, they began working for Kellogg Marine Supply as an IT System Operator and Purchasing Agent. In 2001, they became an IT Technical Services for Computer Management Services, LLC. From 2008 to 2011, they were the IT Manager for Specialty Lighting Group and also founded the Leading IT Managers in the New London CT Area Group in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Systems Administrator for Biocompatibles, Inc., A BTG International group company, where they provided MAS 500 Support, Data Analysis and Export, ERP & CRM data integration planning, and End User Support. Skip then moved to Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG, Inc. in 2014, where they provided MAS 500 Support, Data Analysis and Export, and End User Support. In 2015, they began working for Square 9 Softworks as a Professional Services Engineer.

Skip Whitten's education history includes a Diploma from Mamaroneck High School obtained in 1971, a Certificate in Microcomputing from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College obtained in 1990, and a number of certifications from institutions such as Microsoft and Square 9 Softworks obtained between 2013 and 2016.
