Ellen Mitchell

Ellen Mitchell is a seasoned professional in translation and international relations, currently serving as a Senior Japanese Business Translator and Assistant Manager at Square Enix since June 2020. Previous experience includes the role of Convention Manager at the Japan National Tourism Organization from November 2018 to June 2020, and a position in the Planning Office at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies from September 2017 to August 2018, where responsibilities included administrative support, document translation, and promotional material production. From August 2014 to August 2017, Ellen worked as a Coordinator for International Relations on the JET Programme with Hamamatsu City, managing a variety of translation, event planning, and community engagement tasks. Additional experience includes serving as a waitress at Southern Beach Hotel in 2011. Ellen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese from SOAS University of London, complemented by a year of study at Doshisha University.
