Anand Sankaran

Co-founder at Squarecap

Anand Sankaran is the co-founder of Squarecap, a startup that helps businesses with sales process management. Anand has also worked at PMC-Sierra, Silverton Partners, Wintegra, Trilogy, and Sun Microsystems.

Anand has always been interested in technology and started their career as a member of technical staff at Sun Microsystems. Anand then moved to Trilogy where they worked as a customer integration consultant before joining Wintegra as a senior applications engineer.

At Wintegra, Anand was responsible for developing software that ran on networking equipment. Anand then transitioned into customer success and support at PMC-Sierra. In this role, they were the focal point of contact for Tier1 enterprise accounts and was responsible for managing technical training, on-boarding, and escalations.

In 2015, Anand left PMC-Sierra to start Squarecap with two other co-founders. At Squarecap, Anand has helped define the overall business strategy and managed the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to customer acquisition. Anand has also managed customer-facing activities including communications, on-boarding, and escalations.

Anand has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Anand Sankaran has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a Master of Science in Computer Science and its applications in Oceanography from Oregon State University.
