John Zaras

John Zaras has a diverse work experience that spans over different industries. John'smost recent role was as a Software Engineer at Squaredev, which they started in February 2022. Prior to that, they had a long career with the Hellenic Police, where they held various roles. John started as a Police Constable Trainee in June 2009 and later became a Duty Officer from October 2010 to April 2011. John'sfinal role at the Hellenic Police was as an Identification Documents Specialist at the Hellenic Police HQ, which they held from April 2011 to January 2022.

John Zaras has an Associate's degree in Web Development from the Public Institute of Vocational Training of Galatsi, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned another Associate's degree in Law Enforcement from the Hellenic Police Academy / School for Constables, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, John Zaras has obtained several certifications. In November 2021, they completed the "First Look: Python 3.9" and "Python Object-Oriented Programming" courses offered by LinkedIn. In May 2021, they obtained the "CS3.2: Advanced web development" certification from Mathesis@Crete University Press. In September 2020, they completed the "CS1.1 - Introduction to Python" and "CS1.2 - Advanced programming in Python" courses, also offered by Mathesis@Crete University Press. In June 2020, they obtained the "gPython - Solving problems with Python" certification from the University of Patras. Prior to that, in March 2020, they completed the "CS3.1: Introduction to web development with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript" course from Mathesis@Crete University Press.

Moreover, John Zaras holds additional certifications outside of the field of web development. In October 2019, they completed the "Big Data Analysis (CEPOL Webinar)" offered by the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL). In January 2019, they obtained the "N5 Certificate Japanese-Language Proficiency" from The Japan Foundation. Furthermore, in March 2006, they earned the "Certificate of Proficiency in English" from the University of Michigan.
