Hugh Baker

Hugh Baker is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at SquareKnot Analytics, Hugh has played a pivotal role in launching Canada’s only free personal budgeting app, Wilbur. Prior to this, Hugh worked as an Engineering Consultant at Spud, focusing on enhancing delivery processes, and as Vice President of Cloud Engineering at LifeBooster, where significant team expansion and modernization of development processes occurred. Hugh's past roles include Vice President of Engineering at ePACT Network Ltd., and various leadership positions at Vision Critical, where skills in agile methodologies and team mentoring were developed. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Simon Fraser University and a Software Development Diploma from CDI.
