Akshit Gupta

Akshit Gupta is a Software Developer at Squarepoint Capital since August 2020, where responsibilities include developing strategies by mining data from various sources and transforming it into TimeSeries using Python, while managing extensive databases such as Postgres, GCP, Filestore, and KDB. Previously, Akshit was a Software Engineer Intern at Optum, automating the Optum FDS web page and creating user scenario test cases with the Gherkin language. As a Program Coordinator for the Chemical Engineering Students Society at IIT Roorkee, Akshit facilitated communication between students and faculty, while also serving as an Executive Member of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative, focused on rural development and motivating students in their academic pursuits. Akshit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed during 2016 to 2020, and a 12th grade certificate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Shiv Jyoti Public School, Kota, from 2014 to 2016.
