Andrei Akhvlediani

Andrei Akhvlediani is a Quant Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since July 2015, previously serving as a Strategist, Associate at Goldman Sachs from May 2013 to July 2015, and as a Research Engineer at VisualDNA from August 2012 to May 2013, where machine learning models for predicting credit risk were developed. Prior to this, Andrei co-founded Ivyleap.com as CTO from January 2011 to March 2013 and worked as a Tutorial Leader at the University of Oxford from October 2010 to April 2011. Early career experience includes a role as a Java Developer at CIBC from January 2003 to September 2004. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oxford (2009-2012), an MA in Mathematics from York University (2007-2008), a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from York University (2004-2007), and a Diploma in Computer Science from Sheridan College (2001-2004).
