Danilo Fernandes

Danilo Fernandes is a quantitative researcher currently employed at Squarepoint Capital since April 2023, previously holding a position as a quantitative research intern. In the summer of 2022, Danilo completed an R&D internship at Huawei Paris Research Center, focusing on deep learning models for interference estimation in WLANs, which resulted in a publication at GNNet ’22 alongside several co-authors. In June 2020, Danilo interned at Giant Steps Capital, where research concentrated on trading strategies and pricing models for derivatives. Danilo Fernandes is pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at École Polytechnique, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, completed in 2020.
