David Jack

David Jack is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and finance. Currently serving as COO at Squarepoint Capital since December 2014, David previously held the position of Managing Director - Head of Electronic Trading Technology at Barclays from September 2008 to December 2014. Earlier roles include Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Associate Director at Bear Stearns, and Research Assistant at Rutgers University, where practical work included the development of virtual reality systems for analyzing motor control disorders. David's academic background includes a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, David pursued PhD studies at both UCL and New Jersey Institute of Technology, focusing on neural network algorithms and virtual reality systems.
