Hao Lu

Hao Lu is a Senior Investment Analyst at Squarepoint Capital since May 2023, specializing in discretionary investment and managing an Asian corporate credit portfolio with a focus on fundamental driven long/short, distressed, and event-driven strategies across both China and non-China Asian markets. Previously, Hao served as a Credit Research Analyst at BFAM Partners (Hong Kong) Limited from August 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included analyzing China credit and credit-related names, with investment experience in performing high yield, event-driven, distress, and restructuring sectors, as well as China Local Government Financing Vehicles (LGFV). Earlier career experience includes serving as an Associate at Deutsche Bank from July 2014 to July 2018, focusing on leveraged finance and participating in significant transactions for companies such as Ningbo Joyson and JD.com, as well as working as an Investment Banking Analyst within leveraged finance and M&A sectors. Hao holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from London Business School and a Bachelor of Management in Financial Management from Renmin University of China.
