Mathieu Simard is a seasoned quantitative researcher with extensive experience in systematic trading across macro, crypto, and fixed income markets. Since July 2016, Mathieu has been with Squarepoint Capital, initially serving as a quantitative developer focused on corporate bonds and currently as a quantitative researcher specializing in macro and crypto trading. Prior to this role, Mathieu worked as a quantitative analyst at Morgan Stanley in foreign exchange market making from August 2015 to June 2016. Mathieu began a career at PSP Investments in February 2014 as an analyst in the Office of the Chief Investment Officer, where responsibilities included investment analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in International Finance from HEC Paris, an Engineer's Degree from École Polytechnique, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal.
