Ryan Seah

Ryan Seah has a diverse background in both military service and quantitative finance. Serving as a First Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces from February 2017 to February 2019, Ryan played a key role as the 2nd-in-charge of Bravo Company's Platoon 4, assisting in operations, conducting forums, and instructing recruits. Following military service, Ryan gained experience in finance as a Quantitative Research Intern at GIC, focusing on the relationship between equities and bond markets, and as a Quantitative Analyst Intern at Legend Arb Financial Group Limited, where data mining and backtesting trading strategies were primary duties. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Desk Quantitative Analyst at Squarepoint Capital, specializing in the commodities market. Academically, Ryan completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Applied Mathematics, alongside a second major in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore, succeeding studies at Nanyang Junior College.
