Stan Evans

Stan Evans is a Quantitative Developer at Squarepoint Capital since September 2022, contributing to a trading framework written in q. Previously, Stan worked as a Junior kdb+/q Consultant at FD Technologies, where involvement included kdb+/q development for BGC Partners. In 2019, Stan gained experience as a Programmer at the University of Exeter, developing GUIs in Matlab for Raman spectroscopy microscope control. Stan's earlier role as a Customer Service Assistant at One Stop Stores Ltd occurred in the summer of 2018. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Particles, Strings, and Cosmology from Durham University and a BSc in Physics from the University of Exeter, alongside A levels completed at The Piggott School.
