Ty McLaren

Ty McLaren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a full-time employee at Squarepoint Ventures since June 2025, Ty also co-founded Koa in November 2018, a wellness brand recognized for its sustainable skincare essentials and featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times and Forbes. Prior to these roles, Ty was the Director of Strategic Finance at Capchase from October 2023 to June 2025 and worked in Corporate Development and Strategic Finance at Intersection Co. from February 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities included solving critical business challenges. Ty began a career in investment banking as an Analyst at Rothschild, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business.
