James Mac Mahon is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Squarespace since September 2025, James previously held multiple positions at R3 from December 2019 to September 2025, including Staff Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer Team Lead. Prior to R3, James worked at Murex from February 2015 to December 2019 as a Senior Java Software Engineer and Java Developer. James holds a Master of Science in Computer Science (Conversion) from University College Dublin, earned in 2014, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution, completed in 2013.
