Scott Shields is an experienced engineering professional, currently serving as the Engineering Team Manager for the Platform and SRE teams at Squarespace since July 2023. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Senior Engineering Manager (SRE) at Wayfair from April 2016 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading a globally distributed team in site reliability engineering and focusing on team development and standardization. Earlier in Scott's career, positions included IT Ops Engineer at Skyhook Wireless, a member of the IT Board for the City of Brockton, and Infrastructure Architect for the Brockton Police Department, where significant advancements in network infrastructure and security were achieved. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Bridgewater State University.
