John Whelan has had a successful career in various leadership positions, primarily in customer service and satisfaction. John served as the Vice President of Customer Experience at SquareTrade from 2015-present. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Customer Service at viagogo from 2013-2015 and the Vice President of Customer Satisfaction at Rocket Lawyer, Inc from 2010-2013. John held several roles at StubHub, including Director of Customer Service (post eBay acquisition), Vice President of Customer Service, Vice President of Marketing, and Director of Operations from 2000-2010. Before joining StubHub, John Whelan was the National Operations Manager at Versity.com from 1999-2000 and the Field Manager at US West (now CenturyLink) from 1997-1999.
John Whelan attended the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on Political Science, English, and History.
