Markus Ruopp has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Markus started their career with MTU Aero Engines in 2002, where they completed a dual apprenticeship as a certified industrial mechanic. Markus then joined MTU Maintenance in 2006, initially working as an engine parts remanufacturer and later as an engine mechanic. In 2013, they transitioned to SR Technics Group, where they held various roles including engineer in fleet technical management, overhaul engineer, customer support engineer, and leader of project workstream for the implementation of a new ERP system. Their most recent position at SR Technics Group is head of engine shop engineering.
Markus Ruopp completed a dual apprenticeship as a certified industrial mechanic at Staatliche Berufsschule München-Land München from 2002 to 2006. Markus then went on to attend BBS 22 - Technikerschule Hannover and obtained a state certified technician engineering degree through four years of evening classes from 2008 to 2012. Finally, Markus attended Wrexham University from 2012 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics/Space Engineering.
