Eric Stack

Development Manager at SRAP

Eric is a lifelong Pennsylvanian—after spending his first 18 years in rural northeast Pennsylvania, he relocated to Philadelphia for college and loved it so much he never left. He developed a passion for fresh food early on, working at a local grocery store in high school and then in an independent produce market through college. He continued efforts to bring local, fresh food to Philadelphians after college by working at the Reading Terminal Market, Philly Fair Trade Coffee Company, and at farmers' markets operated by The Food Trust.

Eric then decided to begin a career in development and joined the advancement team at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia (better known as the Mütter Museum).

He joins SRAP from the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked in operations for Penn Medicine Development and Alumni Relations. While at the University of Pennsylvania, he earned a Master of Public Administration from the Fels Institute of Government, and completed a program evaluation for The Food Trust on the organization's Fresh Food Financing Initiative. Eric is passionate about climate and economic justice, and believes building community-driven, sustainable food systems is the only way to save the planet and cultivate an equitable society. He resides in Philadelphia with his partner, their cat and dog, and enjoys hiking, running, live music, and sports of all kinds.
