Robert S. Lawrence

Robert S. Lawrence, MD is the Center for a Livable Future Professor Emeritus at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the founding director of the Center for a Livable Future (1996-2015), which supports research and develops policies related to the public health impacts of industrial food animal production, improving food security, fulfilling the right to food, and adopting healthier diets. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, he trained in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
