Anthony Mitchell

Anthony Mitchell is a member of SRC's board of Trustees. He is also Executive Vice President, Defense and Intelligence Group at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mitchell began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton in 1997 as principal of the communications media and technology practice. In his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, Mitchell has had a consistent track record of success in increasingly broad and complex roles within the defense industry. He was instrumental in leading all operational functions including financial performance, contract acquisition, risk management and talent acquisition and deployment for a multi-billion dollar group of 15,000 employees.

In addition to his membership on the SRC board of trustees, Mitchell is a member of the United Through Reading Board of Directors and National Defense Industrial Association. He earned his master’s degree in Information Systems Management from George Washington University and received the Career Communications Group Black Engineer of the Year award in 2019.
