Yasmine S. possesses a strong academic foundation in biomedical sciences and genomics and molecular genetics, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Institute of Technology with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biotechnology at the University of Central Florida, Yasmine has gained diverse professional experience, including roles as a Genetic Counselor Assistant at GeneDx and a Medical Scribe at Brevard Physician Associates, PLLC. Additionally, Yasmine's research experience spans multiple laboratories during undergraduate studies, encompassing areas such as genetics, molecular biology, Alzheimer’s disease, and paleoecology. Presently, Yasmine serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida, demonstrating a commitment to both education and research in the field.
