Jay Norris

Jay Norris has held a variety of roles in the cybersecurity industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Senior Engineer and program task leader for a collaborative tool at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems. During this time, they were also a Network Analyst, providing reverse code engineering and network analysis for a DoD client at Booz Allen Hamilton. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Computer Network Exploitation Analyst at Varen Technologies, where they identified anomalies and performed binary analysis to identify threats against the DoD. In 2014, they joined CrowdStrike as a Senior Strategic Intrusion Analyst, providing analytical support to the Support Operations Center. In 2015, they joined SRC Technologies Inc. as Vice President of CyberSecurity and Senior Engineer.

Jay Norris obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a major in Network Security from Strayer University (DC) between 2010 and 2013. In 2016, they obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA. Jay also holds a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
