Bob McCarthy

Bob McCarthy is a senior mining consultant with 30 years of experience in mine operations, engineering, asset management, and technology design and implementation. Currently a Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting since 2014, Bob specializes in open pit mine planning and mining technology. Previous roles include positions with Teck Resources, Luscar Ltd., Cardinal River Coals Ltd., and Snowden Mining Industry Consultants, where Bob demonstrated strengths in project management and consulting. Bob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from The University of British Columbia and an MBA from Athabasca University.
