David Burk

David Burk, RSO, is currently an International Security and Risk Advisor at SRK Consulting, where they analyze and support safety and security risk management for personnel, facilities, and programs. Previously, Burk served as a Mine Security Manager at Guyana Goldfields and held various roles, including Mine Security and Mine Safety Manager at Alamos Gold Inc. and Mine Security Consultant at DNK Consulting Inc. With experience at the U.S. Embassy and as an Emergency Response Team Leader, Burk has developed a strong foundation in security management and risk assessment. Their career in security began with service in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1995.
