John Merry

John Merry currently serves as a Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting since March 2016 and has been the Director at Resource Matters International since October 2015. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Glencore from July 2010 to February 2015, where John was the Senior Manager for the Zanaga Iron Ore Exploration Project, and a General Manager position at Rio Tinto Iron Ore from 2005 to 2010. John's earlier career featured a role as HSEC Manager at Rio Tinto Exploration (Africa/Europe) from May 2000 to June 2005. John holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Risk from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Environmental Science from the University of Liverpool.
