John Willis

John Willis is a highly experienced metallurgist with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Principal Metallurgist at SRK Consulting since January 2008, John has previously held positions as a Consulting Metallurgist while self-employed from 2006 to 2008, as a Principal Consultant at JKTech Pty Ltd from 2004 to 2006, and as a Project/Senior Metallurgist at MIM Holdings Ltd from 1992 to 2004. Early in John's career, a role as a Project Metallurgist at Comalco Research Centre was undertaken from 1986 to 1988. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Risk Management from Queensland University of Technology (2002-2004), a PhD in Minerals Processing from The University of Queensland (1988-1992), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Queensland (1982-1985).
